Begging for Democracy

Yes, it is true,
we survive by eating from the plate of others.
how noble of them to share,
in a way we can't repay.

We are not being rude,
when we question the authority.
Not that we are being ungrateful,
we are just answering truthfully.

Are we really that filthy,
that we don't have the right towards democracy?
Although we are 'beggars',
are our voices really not worthy?

Seriously,
we are not a slaving corpse.
