Come here. Hear me crap about love.

My husband and I left our hometown and drove all the way to the metropolis with nothing but each other. We did not have a house and the streets of the metropolis sucks our cash like a sponge absorbs water. We had our bag packs,our car and each other. Oh, we had love. Lots of love.

With the love of friends,
we found shelter.
we get jobs.
and thankfully, endless helping hands.

With the love of family,
we receive blessings.
we hear prayers from far.
and to my shame, something to pay our meal.

With the love of two lovers,
we are happy.
we are content.
and often we dance even when it rains.

With the love of God,
we are still here.
we never get cold.
and most of all, we survive.
